New Years Day. We spent it with good friends and a ridiculous amount of food. In fact, we were all so stuffed by the end of the night, everyone could only take a bite or two of black eyed peas for good luck. (either that or they didn’t like my peas!) It was a perfect way to start of the new year. And a perfect day for January’s 10 on 10, although I tend to get distracted easily and may have been off on my timing a bit.
Good morning sleepyhead.

She spent all of December playing with the nativity scenes and gingerbread houses…

My view from the kitchen and happy boys in the hot tub.

A little blue-eyed friend arrived!

And a little brown eyed friend too! Inside the house we could barely see the counter tops because of all of the groceries we bought for the day.

One of our highlights for the day–Jacob lost a tooth! We didn’t even know it was loose and it came out when he was apparently trying to open something with his teeth. As you can see he was a happy boy.

Gray was a little low on energy that day. But he hung in there with the kids for the most part!

Our sweet friends brought over their Kinect for the kids to play!

My pathetic attempt of a group photo. Clearly I should not have waited until the end of the day.
